3. **Political Science:** This subject covers the theory and practice of politics, government systems, political institutions, public policy, and global affairs.

Overall, the HUMSS strand in DepEd aims to provide students with a broad understanding of human societies, cultures, and systems of thought, as well as skills in critical thinking, communication, research, and creative expression. It prepares students for further education in the humanities, social sciences, arts, communication, and related fields, as well as for careers that require strong analytical, communication, and research skills.
